Registration information is kept indefinitely, including after application of our money-back guarantee refund for accounting and record-keeping purposes. Users of RetireWare for the Web store their information on our database. Upon expiry of subscription and non-renewal, all database records are destroyed.

Safeguards

Our servers are kept in a secure location and data is encrypted and stored securely on our database and no one has access to this information. Backup copies of the database are overwritten every 48 hours. No paper copies are kept on or off our site.

Openness

Upon request and proper authentication, we will confirm your address and email information on record. RetireWare on the Web data is readily accessible to authenticated users.

One individual in the organization is responsible and accountable for all of the principles listed in the schedule and for implementation of personal information management policies and procedures to give effect to the principles and deal with complaints and inquiries.

Obtain and record the knowledge and consent of an individual for the collection, use and disclosure of his or her personal information for a specific purpose. The form and type of consent required will depend on the sensitivity of the personal information.

Limit the personal information collected to that which is for the specific purpose identified at the time of collection.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention

Develop guidelines and procedures for the disposal and destruction of personal information once the purpose for which the personal information is collected has been fulfilled.

Ensure that personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date as is necessary for the purpose that the information is to be used.

Safeguards

Challenging Compliance

Implement procedures to diligently and appropriately respond to any request or complaint about the organization's personal information management system practices. A reply or notice is required not later than 30 days from the date of a request to an individual.
